At StageDoor, we believe every dancer deserves a pointe shoe that supports their unique feet, strength, and training. Our fittings are designed to help dancers find the right shoe for comfort, performance, and long-term foot health.

Whether you’re being fitted for your first pair of pointe shoes, replacing a well-loved pair, or looking to try something new, our experienced team will guide you through the process and help you find the best fit.

Pointe shoe fittings are by appointment only.

What to Expect

During your fitting, we will:

  • Assess your feet and individual needs

  • Discuss your dance training and experience

  • Try a range of pointe shoes styles and sizes

  • Check fit, alignment, support, and comfort

  • Provide advice on accessories and shoe care.

NASDA Fitting - For students attending NASDA at Ara - We can help supply you with everything you need on your uniform list: Ballet flats, Chorus shoes, Jazz shoes, Tap shoes, and clothing, etc.

Ballet Flats - Get your ballet flats fitted to ensure the correct size, comfort, and support. Choose from a range of trusted brands and styles to find the perfect fit for your training and performance. Sizes for children to adult. You can book or walk in.

Tap Shoes - Find the perfect tap shoe with a personalised fitting. We stock a wide range of styles, including Velcro shoes for little dancers, buckle styles with low or Cuban heels, lace-ups, slip-ons, full soles, and split soles. Looking for something special? We also offer the iconic coloured tap shoes from the Jason Samuels Smith collection.

Jazz Shoes - Whether you’re after a classic jazz shoe or a versatile dance sneaker, we’ll help you find the perfect fit. We stock slip-on jazz shoes in both black and tan, along with the popular Boost jazz sneaker, a favourite for dance teachers and ideal for a wide range of dance styles.

Chorus & Stage Shoes - Step confidently onto the stage with the perfect pair of character shoes. We stock and can supply a wide range of chorus and stage shoes for musical theatre and performance, available in black and tan, with T-bar and single-strap styles, plus a selection of heel heights to suit your needs and comfort.
